Lowe's

" Lloyd" ®

Senior Chocolate Buck

Sire: Lowe's Nat - Chocolate

Dam: Lowe's Maggie - Chocolate

I just picked up this guy at Convention 2011, I can't wait to get him into production in my chocolate herd.  He has AMAZING type!

A bit about his ancestors : His pedigree is 100% Justin Lowe animals.  I used to be a top chocolate breeder in the nation in chocolates in Open.  Here are a few of the chocolates I had used, that are now currently in this buck - Penny, Dark Chocolate, Macho Man (13 legs), Texas Dolly, and Cosmo.

Here's a little advise to breeding castors, that I use in my herd - once again it is my OPINION.

I am brand new to the castor variety.  I will comment once I get a feel for the color more.

According to the Standards of Perfection

A castor surface color of the body is to be an evenly distributed rich reddish chestnut brown that is lightly tipped with black.  The intermediate band color is to be a rich rufus red clearly defined over a band of the under color back should be equal.  Surface color of the belly is to be white to creamy tan, clearly defined over slate-blue under color.  The chest, head, outside of ears, and upper side of tail is to match the boy surface color.  ears are to be laced in black.  eye circles, nostrils and jowls are to be white to creamy tan.  Surface color on the underside of the tail is to be white to creamy tan.  Surface color on the underside of the tail is to match the surface color of the belly.  Toenails are to be dark.  Eyes - brown.

Faults - Surface color is too light, too dark, uneven, or gray in appearance; barred feet; indistinct ring color; cut severely for failure to show slate-blue under color on the belly.

" Aria " ®

Senior Broken Chocolate Doe

Sire: FFR's King Shaka ® - REW

Dam: FFR's Blue Dot ® - Broken Black

I just had to buy this gal back from Sharon when I decided to pick up chocolates again.  She is 50% Zulu genetically, he liked to throw chocolates!  I will be breeding her to Lloyd and Dapper.  Dapper will put his AMAZING coat on my chocolates, and perhaps a chocolate otter or two wouldn't hurt.

A bit about her ancestors : She is out of Blue Dot, who goes back to GC FFR's Pheobe and Berlena's Zulu.  Zulu of course goes back to EZ Dae's BluJay.  Pheobe goes back to Pongo/Ann.

Red Ball Trail's

" Camille "

Senior Broken Chocolate Doe

Sire: MS's Deville ® - Chocolate

Dam: 2L's Cameo ® - Broken Chocolate

I just had to buy this gal from Sharon when I decided to pick up chocolates again.  Cameo's entire pedigree is Lowe's.  And Deville is out of Centerstage's Prada.  Prada was 5th at Nationals in FUR, as a chocolate!  Her type is there, if I can get her to stop pushing.  Coat coming in NICELY - very dark!

A bit about her ancestors : She is out of Deville who is a buck I used to own, LOVE his coat, he is out of Centerstage's Prada who took 3rd in fur at MR nationals as a chocolate!  Also alot of Dream Catcher chocolates and whites back there.  Cameo used to live here as well, she was picked up from Georgia.  She goes back to Lowe's Sting, and again Texas Dolly.
